Our History
Shear Xpectations is a family owned salon with a hard working staff and a welcoming environment. Artana, the owner of Shear Xpectations obtained her cosmetology license in 1999 as well as her instructors license in 2001. After working in another salon for 2 years, Artana and her family took a leap of faith and ventured out on their own. In March of 2002 Shear Xpectations was open for business. It was hard getting started but with the help from family and close friends made it possible to keep our doors open. Shear Xpectations now has over 15 employees including: a massage therapist, estheticians, cosmetologists and support staff. In 2004 Artana married her highschool sweetheart, Patrick, and he joined in partnering Shear Xpectations. In 2005 we were able to have the opportunity to expand the salon and added a Spa and Nail area. With the help from all of the employees and clients over the years it has made Shear Xpectations a successful business. Thank you to all who have been a part of our team.
