Strictly French Nails was established in 1999 by owner and operator Carina Campo. Carina became very well known for her French-style nails. In 1995 when Carina began her career, there was no such thing as pink and white acrylic powder. Nails were polished French which created a lot of problems such as yellowing, wearing off, etc. Carina brought a new technique to the East Bay by drilling out the French tip and applying a white acrylic powder, solving all the issues of the old methods. Carina called this method Pink & Whites. This method created an overflow of clientele and that’s how Strictly French was born. Trained by Carina, all the staff members learned this revolutionary technique and the business has continued to grow ever since.
Strictly French Nails continues to strive to bring you the latest in trends and techniques, such as glitter nails. Even though glitter nails have just recently surfaced as a trend, Strictly French has been doing them for approximately seven years.
